8 hour bladesmithing class

In this class we will go over the forging, heat treating and grinding of a knife. Blade will be up to 4" in length and there will be a selection of stabilized wood available to choose for the handle. This will cover basic forging, grinding and heat treating techniques. If you feel you are unable to hand hammer a blade out completely we also have a power hammer and hydraulic forging press to aid in the forging. The blades pictured are examples of the size knife we will be making. All materials are provided and lunch will be included as well. My schedule is very flexible, I am about to accomodate week days or week ends alike.
